I am an economics PhD candidate at the University of California Irvine.
I work in the fields of crime, labor, and public economics. My research focuses on the changing role of technology and surveillance in the criminal justice system, gender and victimization, and racial bias in policing. I'm currently studying the use of GPS and social media monitoring for sex offenders, duty-to-report laws for sex crimes, and racially disparate police contact in California and Tennessee.
I will be on the market in 2022-2023.
